This activity is very unique and different from the typical Henna Art program, where a henna artist draws designs on a student. In this activity, there is NO expert drawing designs on anyone.
Only a demonstration of how to hold the cone and draw is shown to the students.
Then, the students are divided into pairs. Every pair is given a Henna cone with specific instructions. Each draws on the partner’s hand. They choose a given design or a design on their own. Each hand carries only half the design. When the hands are joined, it forms the full design.
Benefits of this activity: It develops Friendship, Trust, Mutual Respect, Patience, and Creativity.
It is highly popular with teens.
